About the Program
The Be Cool, Be in School Truancy Prevention Program was created by the district to assist students with chronic absenteeism through dedicated home visits, personalized outreach, and comprehensive family support.
Our team works tirelessly to identify barriers preventing students from attending school regularly and provides hands-on intervention to help families overcome these obstacles.

School Referrals
Schools refer students with attendance issues directly to the program. We review each case and develop an individualized intervention plan.
Family Outreach
Notices are delivered, home visits made, and yellow door-tags left when parents aren't available. We ensure every family receives support.
Transportation & Follow-Up
We assist families with obstacles preventing attendance and document every intervention. Our team provides ongoing support until the case is resolved.
